On March 28, Yasuo FUKUDA, Former Prime Minister of Japan pointed out that all countries should cooperate together with the base of the Pacific Ocean at the session “Moving Towards the East Asian Economic Community”.

 

FUKUDA pointed out that within the Pacific Ocean, ASEAN countries, India, Austira, New Zealand, South and Noth America should work together and use the Pacific Ocean as the “inner sea”. By this, FUKUDA is optimistic about the future development of Asia.
