At the “Soft Landing & the New Normal of the Property Market” session on March 28th, Kam-Chuang LEUNG, CEO of Nan Fung Group Holdings Ltd, indicated that house prices will head for different directions.
Mr. LEUNG believed that the demand for housing would be limited and a larger variety of investment tools would be available. As a result, house price will see upward pressure only in large cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. On the other hand, housing prices in middle and small cities will be stable, and even slightly lower.
