During the Boao Forum 2015 Roundtable 6: “BFA Cross-Straits Business Roundtable Innovate and Benefit All: A New Future of Cross-Straits Economic Cooperation” on 29 March, Zhang Xiaoqiang (Standing Vice Chairman, China Center for International Economic Exchanges) opined that although enterprises had benefited from the asset and profit growth in recent years, labor workers experienced a much slower increment in their salaries. With this regard, economic cooper-ation cross the Straits must pay more attention on benefiting the public. Firstly, employers should address reasonable requests from their employees and shoulder their social responsibilities to their best. Secondly, by the development through cooperative industrial parks, entrepreneurs across the Straits should create more opportunities for the SMEs.
