On March 29th, 2015, at session 35 "Doing Business the Internet way", LIU Qiangdong, CEO and founder of JD.com Inc., said that the “Internet way” of doing business doesn’t deviate from the nature of business, and his online retailing business still focuses on customer experience and efficiency.

Liu added that the Internet indeed significantly lowered the transaction costs of the society. He mentioned that for every entrepreneur, they must be willing to go through pain as well as many sleepless nights's hard work. He also mentioned that the anxiety faced by many entrepreneurs is attributed to the stress of having to keep up with the competition and to step first in the industry in terms of innovation and creativity.
