On March 29, Steven Arnold MAJIEDT, the Justice, Supreme Court Appeal of South Africa pointed out that not only communication, but also taking actual actions would be the best way to lighten the pollution problem at the session “BRICS Chief Justices’ Dialogue Pollution Control: the Power of Judiciary”.
“Photos only, don’t take products”. MAJIEDT emphasized that the existing law in South Africa strictly prohibits the export of ivory products. In the meantime, the court of South Africa emphasized on striking a balance between economic growth and environmental protection, which is the key goal of the whole country and this helps to lighten the environment-related problem.
