On March 29, ZHOU Qiang, the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme People’s Court of China suggested that we should increase the international judicial cooperation as the way to protect the environment at the session “BRICS Chief Jusices’ Dialogue Pollution Countrol: the Power of Judiciary”.
Zhou mentioned that through discussion and sharing of experiences and real cases among different countries would create a mutual understanding on how to protect the environment through the judiciary system. Meanwhile, Zhou also suggested that China would have a more open attitude towards serious environment-related criminal cases.
