In session 41 “Public Figures and Social Responsibility”, Shan Jixiang, President of the Palace Museum talked about the role of public organizations on 29th March 2015.

Shan mentioned that the general public are influenced heavily by sociocultural norms, and are seeking life inspirations more from cultural advancements; public figures emerging from positive cultural backgrounds are more capable of expressing social responsibility and would be a better role model for the society. Public organizations such as the Palace Museum should provide better environment for those emerging public figures by holding activities for all walks of life, and help spread "positive energy" to all kinds of people with different social statuses.
