At the 2015 Asian Economy Forward-looking Indicator Release on March 27th, ZHANG Yansheng, Secretary-General of the Academic Committee of National Development and Reform Commission, pointed out the six trends of Asia’s 2015 economic growth.
1. Economic growth is slowing down in the Emerging Markets and Developing Countries, whilst going up in developed countries.
2. Growth rate is declining in East Asia and increasing in North America and Europe.
3, Stronger global external demand will offset part of the negative impact imposed by the slowing down economic growth in Asia.
4. In Asia and beyond, the imbalance in trade of goods is being corrected while the imbalance in trade of services keeps growing.
5. In 2015, Asia may see net outflow of capital.
6. The growth of industrial production is slowing down in developing countries, while reindustrialization is gaining speed in developed countries.
