At the Media Leaders Roundtable held on March 26, the editor-in-chief of Hainan Broadcasting Group, Ms. Yin Jieyu, suggests to eliminate cultural barriers with music.

Ms. Yin believes that music is an art without boundaries and also a mutual language that humans share. The “One belt One Road” project is facing huge resistance connecting different countries due to cultural differences. She suggests that media from different countries should explore and look for local music elements that can be fused with the trend to create high quality music. She suggests by promoting the music that combined characteristics from different countries, the boundaries among countries would be eliminated.
