In the media leaders roundtable discussion on March. 26, the Deputy Director General of Motion Picture Development Department of Myanmar, Mr. Win Kyi, expressed that media must act as a bridge in different civilizations and culture. The media must undergo three stages: first, raise the public’s awareness; then, provide connectivity; last but not least, make use of new media nowadays such as the social media.

He thinks that we should keep looking for an appropriate new media form, such that people along the Silk Road can be interconnected, enhancing direct communications among different civilizations.
