Director General, Operation and Maintenance, Riyadh Municipality from 1986 - 1989,

Designated Deputy Minister of Municipal & Rural Affairs for Planning & Programs, on 1989.

A Royal Decree was issued on 2002 appointing His Highness as Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

A Royal Decree was issued on 2004 appointing His Highness as Chairman of SABIC.

A Royal Decree was issued on 2006 upgrading Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu to ministerial level and appointing His Highness to this position.

A Cabinet resolution was issued on 2012 reappointing His Highness as Chairman of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

H.H. ALSO HOLDS THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Member of of the Royal Family Council presided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with membership of a number of Princes.

His Highness is a member of several committees formed by Royal Decrees:

A committee  to look into the needs of Al-Jouf, Jizan, Northern Boarder and Hail. Areas.

A committee to look into the needs of the villages and areas of the western coast.

A committee to look into the needs of Yanbu Governorates.

Member of a joint committee to coordinate and follow-up the works between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture.

Higher Committee for Childhood.

In addition, His Highness played an effective role in several development programs which were of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, such as: Municipal and Rural Complexes-Chiefs Performance Development Programs and Municipal Cooperation, Value Engineering Studies Program, and Privatization of Municipal Activities Program. His Highness has also participated in a number of forums and scientific seminars in the Kingdom and abroad during which he presented several researches and working papers in the field of municipal works, economical, industrial and investment affairs. His Highness has a special interest in the field of social and cultural activities as well.
