Wang Yincheng, a Senior Accountant with a doctoral degree, is Vice Chairman, President and Deputy Party Secretary of The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited (PICC Group). He also holds the position as Vice Chairman of the Insurance Institute of China. Enjoying 32 years of business experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Wang Yincheng has unique insight in enterprise management, financial management and capital operation. With his leadership, PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited (PICC P&C) has realized brilliant achievement and is now No. 1 globally ranked by premium income of a single P&C brand. For two consecutive years, Mr. Wang Yincheng was awarded “China’s Best CEOs” by Forbes and became the only Chinese financial enterprise leader to receive such honor for two consecutive years. Mr. Wang also won many other awards including “Ten Leading Persons in the Chinese Economy” and “China Corporate Social Responsibility Outstanding Entrepreneurs”. Mr. Wang has published dozens of academic papers in journals including People’s Daily, Financial News, Insurance Studies and China Finance and published many books including Management of Insurance Companies and Research on Catastrophe Insurance System.
