SHAO Bingren

Chairman, China Association of Private Equity

 

 

Shao Bingren, Han nationality, was born in December 1945 and is currently Chairman of the China Association of Private Equity.

Career:

1968-1983: serving in management roles responsible for technology and economics in enterprises and research institutions in Jilin and Liaoning

1983-1993: Member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Governor, Tieling District; Deputy Secretary and Secretary, CPC Committee of Jinzhou, Liaoning

1994-1998: Member of the Party Group, Secretary General and Vice Chairman of the State Commission for Restructuring Economic Systems

1998-2002: Member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Economic Restructuring Office of the State Council

Oct. 2002-May 2006: Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman, State Electricity Regulatory Commission

Mar. 2008-Feb. 2013: Vice Chairman, Committee for Population, Resources and Environment, CPPCC

He is currently Chairman of the China Association of Private Equity.
