Attended the economic symposiums respectively at the invitations of Zhu Rongji, Wen Jiabao, Hu Jintao and Li Keqiang (thus considered as one of the “Advisors for Decision-making by the Central Authorities” by the media). One of narrators on the eighteenth collective study of “Fiscal and Taxation System Reform” Topic by Political Bureau of the CPC Committee on January 8, 2010. Winner of SunYefang Prize, Mundell-Huang Prize and China Soft Science Special Award. Member of Expert Committee of the 11th, 12th and 13th Five-Year Plan. In recent years, Jia Kang has been dedicated to promoting the establishment of China New Supply-side Economics and advocating to make efforts to improve system innovation and optimize factor supply in overall reform so as to break through the bottle neck in long-term economic growth and structure adjustment in China. In 2013, being the President, he led China Academy of New Supply-side Economics and organized “China New Supply-side Economist 50 Forum” to actively promote the construction of a think tank of Chinese characteristics with a cross-discipline and cross-department academic platform.
