Financial Expert

Mr. Zhu acts as a Management Practice Visiting Professor in the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and a Guest Research Fellow in the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development. Mr. Zhu worked at CICC from 1998 to 2014. Under his leadership, CICC has registered remarkable achievements in business development and expansion and CICC has been repeatedly honored with awards by globally-renowned publications. From 1999 to 2014, the Company’s net income and net profit have grown by 18 times and 8 times respectively. With broad investment banking experiences, Mr. Zhu has been spearheading CICC’s involvement in a series of milestone transactions, including the IPOs of Sinopec, China Telecom, China Life Insurance, China Shenhua Energy, Agriculture Bank of China, as well as a number of restructuring and M&A deals for major industries such as the mobile assets acquisition of China Telecom. Prior to joining CICC, Mr. Zhu worked at CSFB in New York, a world-wide investment banking group, and an international accounting firm in Chicago. Mr. Zhu holds a Ph.D. degree in Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Besides, he holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from DePaul University of Chicago and an MBA from the International Bankers’ School of Credit Suisse First Boston.
