YANG Yanqing

Dr. Yanqing Yang is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Business News (CBN Newspaper), host and commentator on China Business Network (CBN TV Channel), invited research fellow in CEIBS International Financial Research Center and Institute of Finance and Development of Nankai University. She was among founders of CBN Newspaper, a leading business daily in China. Before Joining CBN, She was a senior reporter in Liberation Daily based in Shanghai. With ample academic and journalistic experience, Yanqing Yang follows China’s macro economy, financial reform and its interconnectedness with the rest of the world closely. She has a column on CBN newspaper and has hosted in-depth programs on CBN TV channel. She published academic papers, commentary and interview articles both in Chinese and in English. Being a media leader, she attended and moderated sessions in global and domestic events, including World Economic Forum, IMF annual meetings, INET conference, Lujiazui Forum, and many others. She also sits on the board of China Universal asset management company, is a career advisor for SAIF of Jiaotong University, and was among academic committee for paper reviewing of MBA program in Management School of Fudan University.Yanqing Yang holds a Ph.D, a M.A. and a B.A. in economics in Fudan University. She was a visiting scholar in Johns Hopkins University. She was awarded “China Scholarship” and “Laura Cha Fellowship” .
