Archbishop of Hong Kong
KWONG Paul, Archbishop of Hong Kong, Chairman of the Council of the Church of East Asia (CCEA), Standing Committee member of the Anglican Consultative Council, member of 12th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. His Grace was consecrated to the Holy Order of Bishop on 25 March 2006 and installed as Second Archbishop of the Province of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui on 26 September 2007. Archbishop Paul earned his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham UK in 2008. He was awarded the Honorary Doctorate of Law from the University of Lingnan, Hong Kong in 2007, Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Wycliffe College, Toronto, Canada in 2008. He was appointed Fellow of Ripon College, Cuddesdon, Oxford, UK in 2010 and Fellow of St. John’s College Hong Kong University, Hong Kong in 2012. His book “Identity in Community: A Relevant Theological Agenda for Hong Kong SAR” was published in 2011.
