Syed Hussain Shaheed Soherwordi has been the Professor and Director in Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. In 1992, he got his B.A Political Science and English Literature, University of Peshawar; during 1995 to 1995, he got his M.A in International Relations in University of Peshawar; in 2005, he got his M.S. of research in University of Edinburgh, and he obtained his Ph.D. in University of Edinburgh in 2010. From 1996 to 2012, he served as the Lecturer in the Department of International Relations, University of Peshawar. Since 2012, he has been serving as the Director, Centre for FATA Studies, University of Peshawar.
