YU Honghui, a professor-level senior engineer and a part-time professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, holds a PhD degree and currently serves as President of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd. (CECEP), the only central enterprise mainly engaged in energy conservation and environmental protection. He previously served as a designer and Secretary of the Youth League Committee at the General Institute of Mechanical Design and Research, Shougang; a cadre and senior staff member at the Division of Recruitment and Deployment, Department of Personnel, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS); Secretary of the Youth League Committee and Deputy Division Chief at the Organ of NBS. After joining CECEP in 1998, he successively served as General Manager Assistant and Vice General Manager of Beijing Huaming Electric Light Source Co., Ltd., Director of the Audit Department, Director of the Human Resources Department and President Assistant of CECEP. He served as General Manager, Party Secretary and Legal Representative of CECEP Industry Development Co., Ltd. from 2005 to 2008; took the post of Vice President of CECEP in 2008, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of CECEP in June 2017, and Board Director, President and Deputy Party Secretary of CECEP in September 2018.
