Mahmood-Ul -Hassan Akhtar, studied at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and joined Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation in June, 1988 after having Masters’ degree in Public Administration. Worked in various capacities at different places in the lower managerial positions before promotion to the post of Deputy Controller，a middle management post, in May, 2006. He headed various branches of personnel and general administration at PBC headquarters. He promoted to the post of Controller in September, 2011 after having worked as Deputy Controller for more than five years. Appointed as Director Administration, one of the senior management position of the Corporation, in April, 2015 and heading the Personnel & Administration  Department of the Corporation. The Director Administration is responsible to manage the employee’s related matters from their Recruitment till their Retirement and also looks after the matters pertaining to the retired employees and their families such as pension and medical facilities.
