Alessandra Pasini has been Chief Financial Officer at Snam since November 2016. With a degree with Honors in Business Administration at Università Bocconi, she began her career at Kraft Jacobs Suchards working in the Financial Control Department. In 1998 she joined Citi, holding various positions in the Credit and Corporate Banking departments, also being Chief of Staff of the Italian Country Manager. In 2000 she joined the Investment Banking team, managing the separation of Snam Rete Gas from Eni and its subsequent IPO. Then, holding positions of increasing responsibility and visibility, she dealt with various M&A transactions, bank financing, debt and equity capital markets transactions, specifically following companies operating in the utilities, oil&gas, telecom & media and infrastructure sectors. Amongst other things, she closely followed the separation of Snam from Eni’s in 2012, few GIP’s acquisitions and the financing of the TIGF acquisition by Snam. In 2013 she joined Barclays as Deputy Head of Investment Banking for Italy, then becoming Head of Investment Banking for Italy and reporting directly to the Head of EMEA. Over the years she managed various relevant transactions, among which the listing by the Italian Ministry of Finance of Enav and the demerger of Italgas from Snam in 2016, Gtech’s acquisition of IGT for USD 5.6 bn and the financing of the transaction, which at the time was the largest acquisition from an Italian corporate over prior several years, the sale of Telecom Argentina by Telecom Italia and the sale by Eni of its upstream assets in Russia. As Snam Chief Financial Officer, Alessandra is in charge of Planning&Control which includes strategic planning, Finance, M&A, Business Development and Administration and Tax. She is also in charge of Snam initiatives in China. Member of the Committee which supervises all activities related to Snam presence in the energy transition space, as well as of Snam Insitute and Snam Foundation. From December 2016 until October 2018 she has been a member of the Board of TAP.
