Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the People’s Republic of China

Stanley Loh has been Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the People’s Republic of China since 12 March 2012. Stanley Loh joined the Singapore Civil Service's Administrative Service in 1995.  Between 1997 and 2000, he served as First Secretary and later Counsellor (Political) at the Singapore High Commission to Malaysia. In 2000, he became Deputy Chief of Mission at the Singapore Embassy to the USA. In 2004, Stanley Loh became Press Secretary to Prime Minister and later Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Stanley Loh served as Trade Representative in Taipei from July 2007 to April 2011. In April 2011, Stanley Loh was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with responsibility for ASEAN, Northeast Asia, Europe, International Organisations, International Economics, Public Affairs and Technical Cooperation matters. Stanley Loh is a member of the Lien Ying Chow Fellowship Council and Patron of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (SingCham). In 2015, he was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by Singapore President Tony Tan.
