He is a Marketing Graduate from University of Sri Jayewardanepura the leading government University for Management Studies and holding an MBA from University of Colombo. In 2004 he was selected as the youngest to lead Marketing function of Wijeya Newspapers Limited which is the leading and biggest media organization of Sri Lanka and held several top positions in media houses.
