Ms. Dong Mingzhu is from Nanjing city, Jiangsu Province, with postgraduate education background. She is Chairperson of the Board and President of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai. Dong Mingzhu successively held the posts of sales manager, vice general manager and general manager of Sales Department, manager, vice general manager and general manager of the Sales Company, Vice Chairperson of the Board and President, and then Chairperson of the Board of Gree Group. She is a deputy to the 10th, 11th and 12th , 13th National People’s Congress, member of the 10th, 11th and 12th Executive Committee of All-China Women’s Federation, Messenger of UN Sustainable Urban Development, the first Rotating Chairperson of UNDP Commission on Sustainable Development, Vice President of China Association for Quality, Vice President of China Female Entrepreneur Association, member of Committee of Experts for the 13th five-year plan of National Development and Reform Commission, member of the Advisory Committee of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, member of the Council of China Social Economic Survey & Research Center, and member of CAST (China Association for Science and Technology) and WFEO-China (World Federation of Engineering Organizations-China).
