Before assuming the position of CEO, board member and member of the CPC committee of China Jianyin Investment Ltd (JIC), Mr. Gu was the EVPS of JIC and Chairman of SGD Pharma. Prior to joining JIC, Mr. Gu took high positions in various corporations. He was the Assistant President, Vice President, and member of the CPC committee of China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd; Deputy General Manager, Vice Party Secretary (in charge), General Manager, Managing Director and Secretary of the CPC committee of China Cinda (HK) Holdings Company Limited (formerly known as Well Kent International Investment Company Limited); Deputy Manager of the Accounting Department of the Chinese Construction Bank(CCB), and General Manager, Assistant President of the former CCB Trust Investment Co. Ltd. Mr. Gu was once served as the Executive Director of Cinda International Holdings Limited (0111.HK), Executive Director of Silver Grant International Industries Limited (0171.HK). He was also the board member of CGN Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd, Director of Cinda Jianrun Real Estate Co., Ltd, Independent Director of Shanghai Tongda Venture Capital Co., Ltd （600647.SH）and Chief Supervisor of Hongyuan Securities（000166.SZ）.
