Mr. Gu Qiang is a Doctor of Management, Postdoctoral Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and head of the Industry Research Institute under China Fortune Land Development Co Ltd. He has successively served in the Ministry of Textile Industry, the State Economic and Trade Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He is currently a committee member of the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee. He has been engaged in the research of industrial development strategies, planning and policies for a long time. He has been involved in the compilation of multiple national plans, including “Plan for Industrial Transformation and Upgrading (2011-2015)”, “The 12th Five-year Plan for the National Development of Strategic Emerging Industries, “Made in China 2025” and others.
