Since Jan. 2019, Mr. HAN Byungdo has been the Special Advisor to the President for Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea. During 2017 to 2019, he took office as the Senior Secretary to the President for Political Affairs. From 2009 to 2017, he was the Chief director of the Korea Iraq Friendship Foundation. During 2004 to 2008, Member of 17th National Assembly(The democratic Party); Member of Commerce, Industry, and Energy Committee, National Assembly; Member of Construction and Transportation Committee, National Assembly, Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, National Assembly and Special Committee on United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, National Assembly. From 1989 to 1990, he was the 19th Student body president of WonKwang University.
