HU, Xiaolian obtained the Master of Economics, Research Fellow. From December 1984 to July 2004, she was occupied as Deputy Director General and Director General of the Policy Research Office, Deputy Director General of the Policy and Regulation Department, Deputy Director General and Director General of the Reserves Management Department, Deputy Administrator, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

From July 2004 to March 2005 , she was occupied as the Assistant Governor, the People’s Bank of China. From March 2005 to August 2005, she was occupied as the Administrator, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. From August 2005 to July 2009, she was occupied as the Deputy Governor, the People’s Bank of China, Administrator, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. From July 2009 to February 2015, she was occupied as the Deputy Governor, the People’s Bank of China. From February 2015 to now, she is the Chairman, the Export-Import Bank of China.
