Jin Xiangjun, ethnic Han, native of Jianghua, Hunan Province, born in July 1964. Joined the Communist Party of China in November 1984 and began his career in July 1990. He holds a master degree in Industrial Management andEngineering from University of Science and Technology of Chengdu and a doctor degree of management. He now serves as vice mayor of Tianjin and member of the Party Leadership Group of the People’s Government of Tianjin Municipality. He is responsible for: Ecological buildup, environment protection(energy saving, emission reduction), free trade zone, commerce, port service, trade in service, foreign affairs, affairs related to Hong Kong and Macro, investment promotion and organization of large activity. The previous leadership positions he held include: Officer of Policy Research Office and Microcomputer Dissemination and Application Office of Science and Technology Committee of Sichuan Province; Officer of Industrial High-technology Division of Science and Technology Agency of Hainan Province; Officer of Management Commission Office and director of Enterprise Management Division of the National Spark Program Demonstration Area of Hainan Province; General manager of Sales Department of Hainan Airlines Aviation & Tourism Group; Director of Fund Management Division of Social Security Administration of Hainan Province; Deputy director of Labor Department and deputy director of Labor and Social Security Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Vice mayor of Yulin City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and member of the Standing Committee of CPC Yulin Municipal Committee; Deputy secretary and secretary of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee; Mayor of Yulin and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Yulin Municipal People's Congress; Secretary of the CPC Fangchenggang Municipal Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Fangchenggang Municipal People's Congress; Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Dongxing National Key Demonstration Area for Development and Opening-up of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Representative of the 18th and 19th CPC National Congress and the 11th National People's Congress.
