JING Zhu
Founder, Haima Automobile; Chairman, Haima Group
Born in October 1966 in Lankao county of Henan province, Mr. Jing Zhu is a member of the Communist Party of China, postdoctor of Peking University, a professor, doctoral supervisor, and the founder of Haima Automobile. He is currently a member of the 13th national committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a member of the 7th standing committee of Hainan Provincial CPPCC, Chairman of Hainan Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of Haima Group. He is a member of the 13th national committee of the CPPCC, representative of the 12th National People's Congress, member of the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standing committee of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, member of the 3rd, 4th and 5th standing committee of Hainan Provincial People’s Congress, member of the 7th standing committee of Hainan Provincial CPPCC, Vice Chairman of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Hainan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce respectively and Chairman of the 8th Hainan Federation of Industry and Commerce. His scientific research achievements have won the science and technology progress awards at provincial or ministerial levels for 11 times. He is the person in charge of the national soft science research project (2004DGQ3D117). He has written more than 100 articles and books such as Research on The Core Competitiveness of Chinese Automobile Enterprises, Thinking on Haima Culture, Traveler, Haima Philosophy, Seeking the Truth and On Category Strategy. Mr. Jing Zhu, as an expert who enjoys the special allowance from the State Council, has gained multiple national-level honors such as National Model Worker, National Labor Day Medal, and has been selected as one of 100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs in the past 40 years of reform and opening of China and one of the Excellent Builders of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the first session, the national candidate of the New Century Hundred Million Talents Project, and was also nominated in the 13th and 14th China’s Top 10 Outstanding Youth. Jing Zhu attended the private enterprises symposium hosted by President Xi Jinping on Nov.1st, 2018 together with other 53 representatives of the private entrepreneurs all over the country.
