As Vice President and Managing Director of China for Booking.com, Marsha Ma is responsible for the overall operations and strategy in the country, leading the company’s efforts to innovate its product and services to the unique and ever-evolving conditions of this dynamic market. Her cross-functional teams of marketing, product, media, technology and partnerships professionals collaborate with the wider Booking.com organisation in Shanghai and throughout the world to create tailor-made experiences for Chinese consumers and empower them to make both international and domestic trips, while delivering best-in-class service and support for partners.
With a wealth of experience in various B2B and B2C leadership positions for large ecommerce and SaaS organisations, Marsha has a proven track-record within the technology space. Most recently, Marsha served as Senior Director of eCommerce for the Greater China Region for Microsoft and before that as the General Manager of the B2B Marketplace of Tmall for Alibaba. She has also worked in a variety of product management and product marketing roles for companies in both China and Silicon Valley including Tencent, Ariba and Oracle.
Marsha holds an MBA from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.
