Pierre Poignant is the Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Group. He is overall in charge of optimizing Lazada’s day-to-day operations and business strategy in the region and reports to Executive Chairwoman, Lucy Peng. Previously, Pierre was the Executive President, and held other multiple positions overseeing Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Last Mile Operations and Content Production in Lazada’s six countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He engineered the development and expansion of Lazada’s logistics footprint from its early days in 2012 and built the company e-logistics capabilities. Before joining Lazada, Pierre worked at McKinsey offices in Paris and Singapore, and at BNP Paribas. He holds a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Diplome d’Ingenieur from Ecole Polytechnique.
