Ren Zeping is the Chief Economist (Vice President) and Director of the Evergrande Think Tank. He previously served as the Deputy Director of the Macroeconomic Research Department of the Development Research Centre of the State Council, Managing Director and Chief Macroeconomic Analyst of Guotai Junan Securities Research Institute, and Chief Economist of Founder Securities and Co-director of the Founder Securities Institute. He is also a think tank expert of Capital Finance, member of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC) Think Tank Committee, expert in upgrading assessment of the National High-tech Zone of the Ministry of Science, member of the China New Supply-side Economist 50 Forum, and adjunct professor at Renmin University of China, the Central University of Finance and Economics, the University of International Business and Economics and Nankai University. He is Doctor of Economics at Renmin University of China, and postdoctoral fellow of the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University He participated in the drafting of major documents and reform plans, and published hundreds of articles in newspapers, such as “People's Daily” and “Economic Research Journal”. He published books, included “Research on Macroeconomic Structure”, “The Future Trend of Economic, Policy and Capital Market”, “Real Estate Cycle”, “New Cycle: Macroeconomic Theory and Application”, and a translation “From Miracle to Maturity：the Growth of the Korean Economy”, etc.
