Dr. SHEN Danyang, born in February 1965, Han nationality, Fujian Province, has a Master Degree in Foreign Trade and a doctorate in economy. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1985 and started work in July 1985. He was the undergraduate student majoring in foreign trade at Xiamen University from 1981 to 1985; the staff of the General Office of State Council of China from 1985 to 1996; the deputy Director and Director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Xiamen Committee from 2003 to 2008; the deputy Director-General of the General Office of Ministry of Commerce from 2008 to 2010; the director-General of Secretariat of China International Trade Representative and Deputy Director-General of General Office of Ministry of Commerce from 2010 to 2014; the director-General of Policy Research Department of Ministry of Commerce from 2014 to 2018. And now he has been the Vice Governor of Hainan Province since 2018.
