Wang Lu joined Baidu in September 2016 as vice president. He is in charge of Baidu’s AI City, marketing, public relations and government relations functions. Prior to Baidu, Mr. Wang was president and CEO of Wal-Mart Global eCommerce in Asia, and led the acquisition of the e-commerce platform Yihaodian. Before Wal-Mart, Mr. Wang was a global vice president and president in China at CBS Interactive. Mr. Wang also previously held roles at CNET and Ziff-Davis. Lu Wang holds a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Union University and an Executive MBA degree from Peking University.
