Professor Wu Xiaoqiu, born in February 1959, is a renowned financial securities expert in China. Now he serves as the Vice President of Renmin University of China, Director of Finance and Securities Institute (FSI). Also, he is a First Class Professor (Finance). Professor Wu is the Vice-President of Academic Degrees Committee of Renmin University of China, the Distinguished Professor of "Chang Jiang Scholars Program" launched by Ministry of Education(2007). Major social academic titles:the First Vice-Chairman of National Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Finance. Moreover, Professor Wu is a member of Disciplinary Review Group of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, a member of Disciplinary Review Group of National Social Science Fund Management Committee. As a scholar of China economics, who has massive impact in China capital market research area is also one of the greatest trailblazer in China capital market theory area and in the field of China securities teaching,researching,personnel training. Professor Wu published hundreds of articles in Social Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, Journal of Financial Research and so on.
