XIAO Yaqing is the Chairman, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, SASAC. Xiao Yaqing, born in September 1959, is a male ethnic Han from Beijing. He entered the workforce in August 1982 and is a CPC member. He graduated from Central South University, majoring in Materials Process Engineering. He has Doctor's degree and holds the title of professor-level senior engineer. Mr. Xiao Yaqing successively held the following posts: General Manager of Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd.; Chairman, General Manager of Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd.; Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Leadership Group, then General Manager and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Aluminum Corporation of China; Deputy Secretary General of the State Council; Currently, Mr. Xiao Yaqing is Chairman and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, SASAC, and Member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
