Yang Qing, Doctor Medicine, is the Director General of Department of Science, Technology and Education of National Health Commission. He graduated from School of Public Health, West China University of Medical Sciences, majoring in occupational health and occupational diseases. He was Sub-Dean of School of Public Health, West China Medical University; Deputy Director General and then Director General of the Department of Primary Health and Maternal and Child Health, Minister of Health; Director General of the Department of Rural Health Management; Director General of the Department of Primary Health of the National Health and Family Planning Commission; Director General of the Department of Pharmaceutical Policy and Fundamental Drug Systems, Director General of Department of Science, Technology and Education.
