Mr. YANG Zaiping is currently serving as the Secretary General of Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA), and a Board member of National Fund for Technology Transfer and Commercialization jointly authorized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance. Prior to that, Mr. Yang served as the Executive Vice President of China Banking Association. Mr. Yang was awarded as “Best China Financial Leader in the year of 2014” by China Financial Leaders Annual Conference hosted by the Xin Hua News Agency. Mr. YANG once worked as a primary and secondary school teacher and dean of students in his hometown. Then he worked as an Associate Professor at Wuhan University and visited two Canadian universities as Senior Visiting Scholar for one year. After returning to China, he worked at Post-Doctoral Station of Renmin University and was in charge of Division of Macro-economics at Economics Research Center. After that, he served as a financial market expert in the Executives’ Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks（EMEAP）, and as the Principal of Documents Management Division, and as the Deputy Division-Chief of the State Council Working Group against illegal funding, illegal approval of setting up financial institutions and illegal financial business in the People’s Bank of China. Then he successively took the position of Division-Chief at the General Office of CPC Central Committee, Deputy Director-General at the General Office of CPPCC Central Committee being awarded as “Excellent Worker”，Deputy Director-General of the Research Bureau as well as Deputy Director-General and Inspector of Supervisory Rules & Regulations Department of China Banking Regulatory Commission, and was elected NPC member of Xicheng District, Beijing. Mr. Yang was a PhD and professor of economics. He has published hundreds of academic papers and eight books on Chinese economic and financial market including Analysis on Government Behaviors in Chinese Economy, Market Thesis, China: Taking a Global Strategic View on Euro, Effectiveness View: Perspective on China’s Financial Frontier Issues, Chinese Economy is Enduring, and Best Practices of Solutions to Small and Micro Enterprises Financing. In 2011, he published personal poetry collection Inside and Outside the Hills.
