Mr. Zeng Qinghong was born in 1961 in Heyuan, Guangdong. He graduated with a Ph.D. degree in management science and engineering, and was a senior engineer. Currently, Mr. Zeng is the Chairman and Secretary of the CPC Committee of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Automobile Industry Association of Guangdong Province. Mr. Zeng has extensive experience in the automobile industry. In the early 1980s, he worked as Director of technology center, Assistant to general manager, Deputy general manager, Deputy chairman and Executive deputy general manager in Guangzhou Bus Factory, Guangzhou Jinbaoma Bus Industrial Company and Guangzhou Guangke Automobile Enterprise Group Company Limited successively. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Zeng served as Secretary of the CPC Committee, Board director and Executive deputy general manager of Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. From June 2005, Mr. Zeng was appointed as Vice chairman and President of Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. From July 2008, he served as Vice chairman of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd concurrently. From September 2008, he served as Deputy secretary of the CPC committee of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd concurrently. From July 2013, he acted as President of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd concurrently. In September and October 2016, he was appointed as Chairman and Secretary of the CPC committee of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Zeng is the delegate of the 10th, 11th and 13th National People’s Congress of PRC, and he is a member of CPC committee of Guangzhou. Mr. Zeng was awarded “Top 50 Luminaries in 50 Years of China Automobile Industry”, “Luminary of China Automobile Industry in 30 Years of Reform and Opening-up”, Guangdong Province Labor Medal, Working Model of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Province Top Entrepreneur and Guangdong Top Ten Influential Business People etc.
