President, Lennar International

Chris Marlin is Founder and President of Lennar International, a division of North America’s largest homebuilder, Lennar Corporation (NYSE:LEN). Lennar International facilitates foreign direct investment in Lennar's U.S. real estate platform by matching foreign capital with Lennar’s varied real estate interests, including project level debt and equity, and asset dispositions. Chris is a leading commentator on cross border investments between the United States and Asia, Latin America, and Europe, and has been a featured speaker at a variety of global forums and events including the Boao Forum for Asia, U.S. Embassy investment, summits, the International Stock Exchange Executives Emeriti Association, and MIPIM, among others. Chris has developed a particular specialty in connecting Chinese and U.S. real estate interests, having facilitated investments representing more than $7 billion in total development between the two countries through his work at Lennar.  Chris formerly served as Vice President and Counsel at Lennar Corporation, and has served as an attorney at international law firms Holland & Knight and Foley & Lardner. He is a graduate of Emory University Law School, where he was active in the Conflict Resolution Program at the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta. He has also served as an adjunct professor of constitutional law at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Central Florida in Orlando, which is the second largest university in the United States. Chris is a member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) – a global network of chief executives.
