Board Member, President and Deputy Party Secretary China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited

Mr. Chen was born in March, 1961. He is a senior engineer and has extensive experience in steel manufacturing, corporate governance and government public affairs management. He used to be the Director of converter steel-making plant of Zhejiang Hangzhou Steel Group, Vice President of Zhejiang Metallurgical Group, Mayor and Party secretary of Jiaxing City, Party secretary of Wenzhou City, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province and Standing Member of CPC Zhejiang Committee. He joined Baosteel in August 2014 and was appointed Board Member and President of Baosteel Group Corporation. Mr. Chen graduated from Beijing Iron & Steel Institute in 1982, majored in iron making and received his Master’s degree of metallurgical engineering from Wuhan Iron & Steel Institute in 1985. He is now Board Member, President and Deputy Party Secretary of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited.
