CEO, Xunlei & Onething

Mr. Lei Chen graduated from Tsinghua University and obtained master’s degree of the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, he worked in Microsoft and then Google in cloud computing and big data area. In 2010, he came back to China and worked in Tencent. During his tenure, he led Tencent’s effort in the field of cloud computing, open platform and social advertising. In 2014, Mr. Lei Chen joined Xunlei as CTO; in 2015, Mr. Lei Chen founded Onething and at the same period was promoted to Co-CEO of Xunlei; in 2017, Mr. Lei Chen was promoted to CEO of Xunlei. Because his initiatives in “Crowed Sourced Computing”, Mr. Lei Chen was awarded China’s Most Influential People for Cloud Computing in 2014, Annual Luminaries in Internet Industry in 2015 and Most Influential People for CDN in 2016.
