Deputy Chairman (Minister) of National Development and Reform Commission, Administrator of National Energy Administration, People’s Republic of China

Mr. Nuer Baikeli was born in Bole City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China, in August 1961. He worked as Mayor of Urumqi Municipality and Chairman of the People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In December of 2014, he was appointed by the Chinese Central Government as Vice Chairman (Minister) of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and Administrator of National Energy Administration (NEA). He was elected as the Delegate of 11th and 12th National People’s Congress.
