Cindy Mi, Founder and CEO of VIPKID. Cindy is a Board Member of Beijing Foreign Studies University and an Advisory Council Member of The Lead Foundation. She earned her MBA from CKGSB. In 2013, she founded VIPKID, an industry leader and innovator in real-time online English language education for children, serving a community of over 300,000 paying students and over 40,000 teachers in the US and Canada. Fast Company named VIPKID the #29 Most Innovative Company in the World 2018 and Forbes/FlexJobs named VIPKID the #1 company in the world for remote jobs in 2018. As VIPKID continues to grow as an influential global education company, Cindy Mi remains true to VIPKID’s mission to inspire and empower every child for the future. She is committed to bringing the world closer to children in China and to bringing China closer to teachers and to children around the world. Cindy recently launched Lingo Bus, a real-time and fully immersive online Chinese learning platform to bring personalized online Chinese lessons to children around the world. Together with charitable organizations such as the Jack Ma Foundation and Adream Foundation, Cindy is dedicated to helping children in rural areas so that they can have more access to English language learning and greater global cultural interaction and understanding.
