Shen has worked in the mobile communications industry for more than 20 years and is regarded as a leader and promoter of the Chinese consumer electronics industry. Under Shen’s leadership, his team joined the mobile communications industry in 2003 and founded Vivo in 2011. Shen laid a solid foundation of Vivo’s culture and DNA to “build a world-class enterprise culture; create world-class products and services for consumers; build a global innovative and stylish brand.” Fast forward to 2018, Vivo is now the world’s top five smartphone brand. Vivo sees itself as an innovator that combines technology with fashion to bring meaningful experiences to consumers to make their lives extraordinary. Vivo sees 5G and AI as the technologies that will revolutionize the smartphone industry. Shen was born in Jiangxi, China in 1972.
