Mr. Dan Vahdat is an award-winning innovator, CEO and founder of Medopad, a British HealthTech AI company helping patients with complex diseases worldwide. Medopad landed a partnership deal with Tencent and Ping An in 2018. Vahdat accompanied UK Prime Minister Theresa May on her state visit to China to meet President Xi and Premier Li in January and struck $140m worth of deals to improve patient care. Medopad has been named a $1B HealthTech company in the making by KPMG. Headquartered in London, Medopad transforms how healthcare providers, doctors and patients connect with each other. The company’s remote patient monitoring apps, mobile technology and advanced analytics unite to deliver personalised care experience. Medopad’s clients include NHS trusts, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical organisations, insurance companies, and governments. Vahdat pursued his PhD in Bioengineering at Johns Hopkins University and University of Oxford, he left before finishing his PhD to start Medopad.
