Economist Dean, Reality Institute of Advanced Finance

GUAN Qingyou, famous economist, was the managing director of Minsheng Securities, Dean of Minsheng Securities Research Institute. In 2017, Guan founded Reality Institute of Advanced Finance and held the post of dean, aiming to create a platform for sharing quality research. Guan is also the Chief Economist of several important institutions. Guan obtained Ph.D degree from Chinese Academy of Social Science and Post-doctor degree from Tsinghua University. Guan previously worked as Program Director at the Center for China Study of Tsinghua University, and Division Chief of the macroeconomic & research departments of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). Other positions concurrently held by him include Senior Research Fellow of China Economic System Reform Research Association, Guest Expert of Financial Reform and Development Think Tank (the Ministry of Finance), Expert in PPP of the Ministry of Finance & National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), member of the PPP Expert Committee (NDRC), the Academic Committee of China Center for Urban Development (NDRC), the Expert Committee on industry economic operation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), China New supply-side Economist 50 Forum and International Monetary Institution (Renmin University of China), Co-supervisor of Tsinghua university school of Economics and Management, Renmin University school of Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance and China Oceanwide postdoctoral study center.
