YUAN Renguo, born in Guizhou province in October 1956, is a member of Communist Party of China (CPC) and a senior economist who holds a master degree. He has been elected as a delegate to 17th CPC National Congress, deputy to 10th and 12th National People's Congress and also served as a member of 10th and 11th Provincial Party Committee of Guizhou province. Honored with “National Model Worker”, “Chinese Liquor-making Master”, “Chinese Baijiu Master” and “Chinese Chief Liquor Taster”, YUAN Renguo is a provincial core expert of Guizhou Province and considered as one of the representative inheritors of Chinese nonmaterial cultural heritage project and enjoys special allowance from the State Council. At present, aside from being the chairman of Moutai Group and Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd., he also holds a concurrent post as vice president of China Alcoholic Drinks Association, China National Food Industry Association, China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneurs Association. In Baijiu industry, YUAN Renguo firstly proposed concepts of “Cultural Liquor” and “Nine Marketing”. Besides, he has also issued many papers including Meeting the Spring Era of Liquor Culture and Analysis on Chinese Baijiu Industry Structure and its Prospect, published collected works Moutai and The Ultimate Enjoyment, and co-edited Chinese Liquor Culture, Red Moutai, Moutai Collection and so on.
