Chang Wen is the co-founder and CEO of Ninja Logistics Pte, South East Asia’s fastest growing logistics Solutions Company. Operating under the names of Ninja Van and Ninja Xpress in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, the company was started in 2014 when the founders felt that there was a gap in the market for a logistics service provider that catered to the needs of the e-commerce industry. Specializing in next-day deliveries, Ninja Van operates on proprietary technology and algorithms that connect and integrate multiple logistics networks to optimize routes and fleet management, enabling the company to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and provide greater transparency and accountability to clients and end-customers. The company now delivers over 15,000 parcels a day for 3,000 clients across its markets, with a fleet of more than 300 vehicles. Chang Wen graduated with a Bachelor of Finance from Singapore Management University and worked as a trader at Barclays before setting up men’s custom fashion retailer Marcella. A natural born entrepreneur, Chang Wen’s first business venture took place when he was a student, having discovered that putting together second-hand bicycle parts and selling the finished product could land him a neat profit. He is passionate about harnessing technology to improve lives, and enjoys adapting classical mathematical models to real world solutions.
